Resumen

Toxicant-Induced Loss of Tolerance (TILT) is a general disease mechanism proposed to explain Chemical Intolerance (CI). The Quick Environmental Exposure and Sensitivity Inventory (QEESI) is a validated 50-item questionnaire for identifying chemical intolerance. The 3-item Brief Environmental Exposure and Sensitivity Inventory (BREESI) is a brief screener for CI which has excellent positive and negative predictive validity with the QEESI. The BREESI is ideal for determining potential CI in a range of health care settings, and for researchers and investigators involved in the built environment.
