Treatment of plaque-induced gingivitis, chronic periodontitis, and other clinical conditions

The inflammatory components of plaque induced ginglVltls and chronic periodontitis can be managed effectively for the majority of patients with a plaque control program and non-surgical and/or surgical root debridement coupled with continued periodontal maintenance procedures. Some patients may need additional therapeutic procedures.
