Resumen

Wattle to shank skin grafts in adult chickens show a sex specific (H-W antigen-mediated) rejection in one highly inbred line, while no such rejection is observed in two others. In addition, survival of P₁ female grafts on F₁ female hosts indicates no genetic polymorphism at the H-W locus. These results are similar to those reported for the sex specific H-Y antigen in mammals.
