Resumen

Wattle to shank skin grafts in adult chickens show a sex specific (H-W antigen-mediated) rejection in one highly inbred line, while no such rejection is observed in two others. In addition, survival of P1 female grafts on F1 female hosts indicates no genetic polymorphism at the H-W locus. These results are similar to those reported for the sex specific H-Y antigen in mammals.
