Resumen
Most practicing neonatologists believe that retinopathy of prematurity that does not exceed stage I or II and has begun to regress will resolve without visual sequelae. Based on this perception, it is necessary to counsel parents and schedule follow-up appointments for premature infants who are at risk. We encountered five infants whose cases of retinopathy of prematurity did not follow these premises.
