Resumen

The role of partial nephrectomy in T3a renal cell carcinoma is controversial. In a multicenter comparison of partial versus radical nephrectomy in 929 upstaged pT3a patients, partial nephrectomy was not associated with increased risk of recurrence, although conferring functional benefit.
