Resumen

Human gastrointestinal (GI) cell cultures are very important models to study a variety of diseases. This paper describes methods to initiate cultures of normal and malignant human GI cells from fresh tissue specimens and use of these cells to study an infectivity by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
