Resumen
A study conducted to incorporate and control the release of proteins from scaffold with differing pore sizes, high porosities, and high surface area showed that protein was incorporated and released in a controlled manner by varying the physical characteristics of the scaffolds such as median pore size. This fabrication method can be used in a wide variety of applications where controlled site-specific delivery of macromolecules are needed to stimulate tissue regeneration.
