Abstract
The data presented in this paper show that the titanium zonal rotor (designated Ti-15 by Spinco Division of Beckman Instruments) can be used effectively as a batch-type rotor without modifications or accessories in addition to those normally supplied by the manufacturer. This paper describes the procedure for loading and unloading the rotor and gives data for comparison of yields of pig liver microsomal electron transport components from the titanium zonal rotor versus the #30 fixed-angle rotor.
