Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The objective of this chapter is to review the anatomy and function of the distal forearm, specifically targeting the terminal branches of the brachial plexus for nerve blockade. We describe regional anesthesia approaches for the ulnar, radial, and median nerves at both the antecubital fossa and mid-forearm regions. Indications for and potential complications of distal upper extremity blocks will be discussed.
