The significance of urinalysis in treatment of hospitalized dental patients

Abstract

Urinalysis may show various manifestations of systemic disease. The significance of altered values found on routine laboratory examination of urine is discussed in this article. These values and characteristics of urinalysis include color, appearance, specific gravity, pH, glycosuria, ketonuria, and bile.
