The excision of Teflon granuloma can be performed via a lateral laryngotomy with complete paraglottic dissection. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia using light sedation. Reconstruction of the paraglottic space is performed using an ipsilateral, inferiorly pedicled sternohyoid muscle flap.
