Abstract
Limbal corneal scarring has been reported as a rare complication of cyclocryotherapy. In the case reported, cyclocryotherapy was placed on two different occasions in the same location, posterior to the limbus in the superior aspect of the globe. A portion of this area scarred and thinned to the extent that, secondary to an elevated intraocular pressure, a staphyloma developed.
