Abstract
We describe a 12-year-old girl who developed staphylococcal toxic shock syndrome following a puncture wound to a finger. This patient presented to the emergency department with characteristic clinical picture of staphylococcal toxic shock syndrome. She was managed aggressively with fluid resuscitation and antibiotics. She responded to this therapy completely without any complications.
