Abstract

The professional career of Samuel Pruzansky was intimately related to the development and success of the world's first Center for Craniofacial Anomalies (CCFA) at the University of Illinois-Chicago. The idea of the Center had its genesis in the concept of the team as the basic unit most appropriate to care for the child with multiple handicaps.
