Abstract
We report the results of investigating a pregnant baboon that developed hypertension, proteinuria, and oedema in late gestation. Although the clinical presentation suggested a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia, the evolution of her clinical signs and results of a renal biopsy performed 3 weeks after delivery suggested that glomemlonephritis was the underlying disease.
