Abstract

This book presents an overview of the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, concentrating on the important targeted therapies that are set to improve outcomes for patients in future. The eight chapters are organized in comprehensive and logical progression from diagnosis and biomarkers, to surgical options, radiotherapy and chemotherapeutic regimens. The final two chapters present an overview of the management of breast cancer with current guidelines and up to date algorithms. In each chapter, the authors have provided several important learning points and key terms for ease of reference. Personalized Management of Breast Cancer is a multidisciplinary work that provides a comprehensive and accessible text for all clinicians who care for such patients.
