Abstract

Thorough vascular evaluation in patients undergoing foot and ankle surgery is essential. Extensive diagnostic workup, optimization of distal perfusion, and a comprehensive plan for perioperative care of the patient affected by peripheral vascular disease are presented to illustrate appropriate management by the entire surgical team.
