Abstract
The cellular site La Crosse virus S genome mRNA synthesis was examined by pulse-labeled infected cells for various times and determining the amount of labeled S mRNA in both the cytoplasmic and nuclear fractions. With pulse times as short as 3 min, La Crosse virus S genome transcription was found to be localized in the cytoplasm.
