Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In this chapter, knee fractures are discussed. The basics of fractures are reviewed and then the common and less common fractures that occur in the knee are reviewed. For each fracture, an overview of the fracture is provided followed by a discussion of its clinical presentation, diagnostic studies, treatment and return to activities guidelines. Understanding the types of fractures that occur in the knee, as well as their evaluation and management is important in anyone taking care of patients with knee pathologies.
