Gallbladder and liver infarction occurring as a complication of acute bacterial endocarditis

Abstract

A case of acute bacterial endocarditis is presented in which gallbladder infarction and areas of hepatic infarction were found at autopsy. Selective angiography had shown findings consistent with emboli to the gallbladder and hepatic circulations.
