Fabrication of cranial implants using fused deposition modeling technology

Fabrication of a cranial implant using a model created from a CT scan is presented. No impression of the patient is made. The model is generated using a process called fused deposition modeling. After fabrication of the model, conventional processing and polishing techniques are used.
