Abstract
The variability of the surface treatment and heat treatment conditions affects the process of the oxide formation, thereby making the corrosion properties different. However, additional electrochemical analysis together with surface analysis are needed to provide more information on the corrosion behavior of the titanium using various surface treatment and heat treatment conditions. A study is conducted to evaluate the electrochemical properties of commercially pure titanium after passivation treatment or different heat treatments.
