Abstract

Data concerning the erythrocyte picture of newborn rats whose mothers had been treated antenatally with liver extracts known to contain the anti-pernicious anemia factor has been presented and shown to be not statistically different from that of untreated controls; or the antenatal injection of liver extract into a pregnant rat has no significant effect on the mean red cell diameter of the newborn rats.
