Abstract
A subannular aortic aneurysm was detected on standard and transesophageal echocardiograms obtained from a patient with severe aortic and mitral regurgitation. The presumed etiology was bacterial endocarditis. A brief discussion of subannular aneurysms is presented along with pertinent material from this case.
