Abstract

Distal radius fracture are a common injury in the elderly. We reviewed the Cochrane and PUBMED databases to identify the best available evidence for the 8 most important questions regarding distal radius fractures. Numerous studies on the management of distal radius fractures have been published in the literature. Despite a large body of literature, only few recommendations on the management of distal radius fractures can be supported by high level of evidence.
