Abstract
Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) is a rare progressive parkinsonian disorder and one of the underlying pathologies for the corticobasal syndrome (CBS). CBD presents with a combination of motor features such as parkinsonism, dystonia, myoclonus, apraxia and alien limb phenomena as well as non-motor findings such as cognitive and behavioral impairment. In this article, we cover an overview of CBD history, diagnostic criteria, phenomenology, classification, clinico-pathological presentations, and management.
