Abstract

The original online version of this article was revised to correct the Conclusion statement in the graphical abstract. The statement should read: "Utility in identifying patients with acute complicated appendicitis with larger abscess sizes (> 4.8 cm) and offering up-front surgical intervention, as larger abscess size is predictive of NOM failure". The original article has been corrected.
