Abstract
The mechanical properties of the bone, which vary when the structure of collagen molecules is altered by heat treatment, is determined using a local abattoir. The results indicate that as the heat increases, the bone mechanical properties decreases. This is most likely due to the structure changes of collagen molecules caused by varied temperature.
