Abstract

Optimum conditions for the hydrolyses of the conjugated metabolites of chlorpromazine have been developed. Enzymatic procedure under such conditions yields 80 per cent hydrolysis in 1 hour. The rates of hydrolyses of individual metabolite conjugates have been determined. The time required for maximum hydrolysis of all the known conjugates varies between 1 and 4 hours.
