Abstract
Chronic daily headache (CDH) represents headache disorders that occur more than 15 days per month for at least 3 months. CDH must not be considered a homogeneous entity but a syndrome that involves many primary and secondary headaches. Chronic migraine, chronic tension type headache and analgesic overuse headache are the most frequent diagnosis. This article reviews clinical and therapeutic aspects related to the most frequent causes of CDH.
