Abstract
Group therapy with pre-adolescents presents an excellent opportunity to employ operant conditioning principles. This paper describes procedures used in establishing an operant approach in a pre-adolescent boys' group. Quantitative data and vualitative observation indicate that operant techniques were successful in increasing the rate of prosocial responses and decreasing deviant behavior.
