Abstract

A controlled follow-up study of U_S. Army enlisted men who served in Vietnam during a period of peak heroin use (1971-1972) was conducted two years after their discharge from the service. The purpose of the follow-up study was to assess current alcohol and drug use as well as other indices of adjustment.
