Abstract

The importance of accurately positioning the incisal edge of the maxillary incisor is well-known, since its relation to the upper lip is the single most important factor in planning maxillary repositioning. The simple method described helps achieve this objective when intrusion of the posterior maxilla and/or extrusion of the anterior maxilla are planned.
